Successful Participation of our Doctoral Researchers at this year´s hEART Conference
The prize was presented by the RERITE Working Group to recognize high-quality reproducible research in transportation. It was the first year that the prize was awarded.
The awarded work, “Real-Time Joint Estimation of Queue Dynamics and Arrival Time via a Car-Following-Model-Integrated Unscented Kalman Filter,” was co-authored by Qiongdan Hu, Chaopeng Tan, Menglin Yang, and Prof. Meng Wang. It develops a real-time method that combines a car-following model with an Unscented Kalman Filter to jointly estimate traffic queue dynamics and vehicle arrival time as part of the research conducted within AgiMo B4.
This award recognizes open-science contributions and research reproducibility. The winning work demonstrates a commitment to open-source code and openly available research outputs.
The faculty extends its warmest congratulations on this award.
