Marius Schiller receives the TUD Badge of Honor
The TUD badge of honor is a distinction granted for outstanding individual achievements and exceptional services to Technische Universität Dresden. Marius Schiller, a student of Transport Engineering, has been awarded the TUD Badge of Honor for "[…] his long-term vision of sustainable, integrated and student-friendly mobility in the city and at the university", as stated in the official statement.
As Advisor Mobility of the Student Council, Marius Schiller has had a lasting impact on student mobility at TUD. He led complex semester ticket negotiations with partners such as VVO and DB Regio, ensuring fair and sustainable solutions for students. In addition, he has played a key role in introducing the Germany Semester Ticket and advancing digital solutions such as the Campuscard and modern student ID systems. Finally Marius Schiller has campaigned for the reintroduction of MOBIbike in Dresden and contributed to the Dresden Mobility Plan 2035+.
