The "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at TUD Dresden University of Technology is pleased to welcome Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daria Menzel as the holder of the newly established DB InfraGO Endowed Chair for Digital Railway Systems.

The “Friedrich List” Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences welcomes Prof. Dr. Erika von Schneidemesser as new Professor of Air Quality and Transport. The position is a joint appointment with the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam – GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.

Saxon Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Regina Kraushaar, visited the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at TUD Dresden University of Technology on Thursday, March 12, 2026, to find out about current mobility research projects.

As of March 10, 2026, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Rico Wittwer was appointed Extraordinary Professor in the field of Mobility Behavior at the Chair of Mobility System Planning. This makes him the first Extraordinary Professor at the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences.
